Baseball Recap: Catholic Central Comes Up Short

Catholic Central and Newton Local squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Catholic Central had to settle for second. They lost 16-0 to the Indians. The Irish just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Newton Local, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Catholic Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newton Local, they will venture away from home to challenge Russia at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
