Football Recap: Brunswick Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Walkersville Lions 50-14. The Railroaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Walkersville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Brunswick is taking a road trip to challenge Catoctin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Railroaders will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.38 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Walkersville, they will be playing at home against Middletown at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
