Softball Recap: Pike County Comes Up Short

Pike County lost against Morgan County on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pirates fell 10-5 to the Bulldogs. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pike County's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Morgan County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Pike County will take on rival Rutland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Morgan County is set to square off against their familiar foe Callaway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
