Softball Recap: Jay Takes a Loss

Jay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ketchum Warriors.

Jay saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Gibe, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Jay's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Ketchum, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-13.

Coming up, Jay will look to defend their home field on Monday against Catoosa at 5:00 p.m. As for Ketchum, they will head out to take on Nowata at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
