After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Harlem finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against the Grovetown Warriors, falling 10-1. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Harlem's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Grovetown, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Harlem is taking a road trip to square off against West Laurens at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Grovetown, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Newton at 11:00 a.m.
