Baseball Game Preview: Ridgemont Golden Gophers vs. Mohawk Warriors

The Ridgemont Golden Gophers will take on the Mohawk Warriors in a tournament on Friday. Ridgemont has given up an average of 7.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Ridgemont came up short against Allen East and fell 16-11. The Golden Gophers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Ridgemont got a massive performance out of Jayden Sifrit, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Maverick Dawson, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Mohawk had just enough and edged out Wynford 4-2 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Mohawk's victory bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Ridgemont, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
