Cherokee Bluff had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with  a   5-1  win over the Lanier Longhorns. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  15-0  on Monday.
 Landon Kemp made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run over six innings pitched. Kemp was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases and one  run. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in February.
 In other batting news,  Ethan England and  Bubba Coleman did most of the damage at the plate:  England  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  home run and two  stolen bases, while  Coleman  went 2-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  England has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Ryder Baldwin, who  earned two  runs and three  stolen bases.
 Cherokee Bluff  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  launched at least two  home runs in three consecutive  contests.
Cherokee Bluff's record now sits at 19-11. As for Lanier, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-22.
As of now, neither Cherokee Bluff nor the Longhorns have any future games scheduled.
