After losing to Athenian the last time they met, Bentley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bentley Phoenix blew past the Athenian Owls 4-1 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Phoenix, who have now won three matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Athenian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Charlotte Perry (2), Maya Rose, and Asha Adansi.

Bentley pushed their record up to 4-1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Athenian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Bentley has already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Albany on the 11th. As for Athenian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against St. Joseph Notre Dame on the 13th.
