Basketball Game Preview: Dunkirk Marauders vs. Olean Huskies

Dunkirk hasn't had much luck against Olean recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Marauders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huskies at 7:30 p.m. Dunkirk will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Dunkirk will bounce into Friday's game after beating Salamanca, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Marauders managed a 54-49 victory over the Warriors on Tuesday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since February 6, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, Olean didn't have quite enough to beat Fredonia on Tuesday and fell 50-47. While the Huskies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hillbillies 18-6 in the first quarter.

Dunkirk's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Olean, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
