Baseball Recap: Dublin's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dublin can now relate to. They lost 16-6 to the Worth County Rams on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Irish have lost by exactly ten runs.

CJ Stubbs was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeff Davis, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Dublin's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-11. As for Worth County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

While Dublin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
