Appling County extended their postseason success on Thursday against Cook. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hornets a 3-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

Appling County's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Cook, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 26-5 record.

Appling County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Pierce County on the 30th. Cook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
