Softball Recap: Red Oak Takes a Loss

Red Oak's last matchup with Harlan could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Tigers lost 21-3 to the Cyclones. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 7-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Red Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Harlan, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-19 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Harlan beat Red Oak by a score of 19-6 later that day.
