Softball Recap: Roland-Story Comes Up Short

Roland-Story was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Greene County Rams. The Norsemen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

Peyton Jeter was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Roland-Story's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Greene County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-9.

Coming up, Roland-Story will face off against West Marshall at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Greene County, they will take on Northwest Webster at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
