Basketball Recap: Animo De La Hoya Takes a Loss

Animo De La Hoya lost against Smidt Tech back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Animo De La Hoya Boxers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 18-17 to the Smidt Tech Grey Wolves. The Boxers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Animo De La Hoya's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Smidt Tech, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-7.

Animo De La Hoya didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-26 defeat against Stern on the 6th. Smidt Tech has also already played their next game (against Los Angeles Leadership Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
