Baseball Game Preview: Liberty Patriots vs. Gig Harbor Tides

The Liberty Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Gig Harbor Tides at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Liberty 3.8, Gig Harbor 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Liberty is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over White River. The win was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, while Gig Harbor put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Kentlake. The Tides put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 12-0 victory. The Tides might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by eight runs or more this season.

Gig Harbor's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7.
