Recap: Rancho Dominguez Lobos vs. Foshay Wolverines
The third road contest was the charm for the Rancho Dominguez Lobos, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Foshay on Monday and snuck past 40-38. The victory was all the more spectacular given Rancho Dominguez's disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 963rd, while Foshay is ranked 312th).
Despite the loss, Foshay still got an impressive performance from Kelis Jones, who scored 24 points. The game was Jones' fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Rancho Dominguez's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Foshay, they bumped their record down to 4-1 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Rancho Dominguez will take on Glenn at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Foshay, they will head out on the road to face off against New West Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
