Softball Recap: Chandler Falls Short Against Ranked Moore

Chandler faced Moore in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Chandler fell 7-2 to Moore. The loss was Chandler's first of the season.

Chandler saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blaklei Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chandler fell to 9-1. As for Moore, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Chandler will be playing at home against Latta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Moore, they have already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Lone Grove on the 23rd.
