            Basketball Recap: Carrollton Trojans vs. Collins Hill Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            With a playoff win on the line, Carrollton rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They took down the Collins Hill Eagles 59-45. The  win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on four straight.
 Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Disaya Reid, who  went 7-for-11  on her way to 15 points. What's more,  Reid also posted a 64%  shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's  achieved since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Kaleigh Heywood, who  posted 12  points in addition to six  boards and three  steals.

Carrollton's victory was  their tenth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 21-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 67.2 points over those games. As for Collins Hill, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-15.
 Looking ahead, Carrollton will host North Paulding  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Carrollton's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last four contests. Collins Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
