While Vidalia's victory against Swainsboro wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vidalia Indians narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Swainsboro Tigers 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Owen Jude and Kayden Brantley scored both of Vidalia's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Vidalia picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Swainsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Vidalia has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Woodville-Tompkins on the 18th. As for Swainsboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-1 win against Montgomery County on the 17th.
