Football Recap: Pine Island Takes a Loss

Pine Island and North Community squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Pine Island had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Polars, falling 50-21. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pine Island fell to 10-1. As for North Community, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Pine Island does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Community, they will square off against Waseca on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Polars 14.8, the Bluejays 7.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
