Baseball Recap: Tolsia Takes a Loss

Tolsia had lost 22 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 3-23 to make it 23. They came up short against the St. Joseph Central Irish, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Rebels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for St. Joseph Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 29-3. The result was nothing new for the Irish, who have now won 18 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

For St. Joseph Central's part, Hudson Moosavi made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, Moosavi posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brayden McDowell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cam Kellar, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

As of now, neither Tolsia nor St. Joseph Central have any future games scheduled.
