While Westfield School's victory against Piedmont Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hornets won by a run and slipped past the Cougars 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hornets have posted since September 3rd.

Westfield School's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Piedmont Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Westfield School will head out to take on Pinewood Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Piedmont Academy, they will host George Walton Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
