Windward won the last time they faced Viewpoint and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Windward Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Viewpoint Patriots, sneaking past 3-2. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Patriots are ranked 414th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Zoe Richman and Kennedy Richard scored all three of Windward's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Windward has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those six games. As for Viewpoint, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3-5.

Windward has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Crossroads on the 31st. As for Viewpoint, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 5-1 victory against Archer School for Girls on the 30th.
