Midwest Central hadn't done well against Illini Central recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Raiders walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cougars. The Raiders were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Cougars, so the Raiders were just returning the favor.

Midwest Central didn't let Illini Central take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23.
