Hanover has gone a perfect 9-0 against Blue Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Rams. Hanover knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Blue Valley likes a good challenge.

Hanover's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Frankfort 50-0. Given Hanover's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked second, while Frankfort is ranked 57th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 48 points the game before, Blue Valley was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by Axtell and fell 54-8.

Hanover's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Blue Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Everything came up roses for Hanover against Blue Valley when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 46-0 victory. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
