Soccer Recap: Nordhoff Comes Up Short

Nordhoff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Malibu Sharks. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since January 23, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Nordhoff's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Malibu, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nordhoff will face off against Villanova Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Malibu, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Channel Islands at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
