Baseball Game Preview: Richmond Oilers vs. Hercules Titans

Richmond hasn't had much luck against Hercules recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Oilers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 4:00 p.m. Richmond has given up an average of 12.6 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Richmond is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Saturday. They came up short against Ygnacio Valley, falling 15-5. That's two games in a row now that the Oilers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Meanwhile, Hercules came up short against Concord on Tuesday and fell 8-4.

Hercules saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wynston Bishop, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Another was Noah Ledesma, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Hercules' loss dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for Richmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
