Nashville has gone a perfect 4-0 against Roxana recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Hornets will venture away from home to face off against the Shells at 4:30 p.m. Nashville will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Nashville's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They had just enough and edged out DuQuoin 2-0. That's two games straight that the Hornets have won by exactly two runs.

Meanwhile, Roxana unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Salem by a score of 7-6.

Nick Miles led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Sean Maberry, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Nashville's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Roxana, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5.

Nashville beat Roxana 9-6 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
