Basketball Game Preview: Burbank Titans vs. Armijo Royals

The Burbank Titans will take on the Armijo Royals at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Burbank lost 53-27 to West Campus on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 916th, while the Warriors are ranked 262nd).

Loss or not, Burbank got some senior leadership from Daejahmonni Tagger and Aniyah Bufford. Tagger posted 11 points, while Bufford put up eight points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Armijo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Foothill by a score of 54-41 on Monday.

Burbank's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8. As for Armijo, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-8 record this season.

Burbank was able to grind out a solid win over Armijo in their previous meeting on January 8th, winning 39-26. Will Burbank repeat their success, or does Armijo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
