Basketball Recap: Elite Takes a Loss

Elite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Delta Saints, falling 63-14. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-11.

Amaiya Seeberry was Elite's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Kendo Cook held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.

Elite's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Delta, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Elite will take on Esparto in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Delta, they and Florin will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
