Soccer Recap: Rootstown Comes Up Short

Rootstown managed to keep up with Fairview until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rovers came up short against the Warriors, falling 4-1. Rootstown have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Zach Pastor, who's now up to seven this season.

Rootstown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Fairview, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rootstown will host Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairview, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Beachwood at 7:00 p.m. Beachwood will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Fairview surely won't give up without a fight.
