Basketball Game Preview: Alameda Hornets vs. Campolindo Cougars

The Alameda Hornets will challenge the Campolindo Cougars at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

Last Thursday, Alameda ended up a good deal behind Bishop O'Dowd and lost 54-35.

Meanwhile, Campolindo entered their tilt with Las Lomas on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 49-39. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Knights are ranked 459th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Campolindo's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Alameda, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
