There's no place like home for Upson-Lee, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Luella Lions on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for Upson-Lee as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Brian Ventura and Evan Turner scored both of Upson-Lee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-8. As for Luella, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Upson-Lee has already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Sandy Creek on the 1st. As for Luella, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Mary Persons on the 1st.
