Soccer Recap: Woodland Christian Comes Up Short

Woodland Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Golden Sierra Grizzlies. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in December of 2024.

Woodland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Golden Sierra, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5-2 record this season.

Woodland Christian didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Esparto on the 27th. As for Golden Sierra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Vacaville Christian on the 27th.
