Soccer Game Preview: Bleckley County vs. Academy for Classical Education

The Bleckley County Royals will head out on the road to take on the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bleckley County will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Dublin on Thursday. Bleckley County was the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Dublin. Considering the Royals have won three games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Dublin with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Riley Lawson (2), Colton Hughes, and Zach Gilbert.

Meanwhile, Academy for Classical Education waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Academy for Classical Education who was credited with the victory. Academy for Classical Education got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Brookstone's two.

Academy for Classical Education now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Bleckley County, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
