Football Game Preview: Sparrows Point Pointers vs. Lackey Chargers + How To Watch

The Sparrows Point Pointers will take on the Lackey Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sparrows Point will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Sparrows Point is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They really took it to Central for the full four quarters, racking up a 34-6 win. The Pointers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

Mikey Maynor produced another solid effort rushing for 70 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making one tackle (1.0 for loss) and defending three passes. Another big playmaker for Sparrows Point was Zach Stansburge, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Lackey hadn't beaten Calvert on the road since November 3, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Chargers managed a 20-14 victory over the Cavaliers.

Lackey now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Sparrows Point, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.
