Soccer Game Preview: Lumpkin County vs. North Hall

The Lumpkin County Indians are taking a road trip to square off against the North Hall Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Hall took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lumpkin County, who comes in off a win.

Lumpkin County is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Stephens County with a sharp 5-0 victory on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Lumpkin County needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Meanwhile, North Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Dawson County. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Trojans couldn't quite close it out.

Lumpkin County's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for North Hall, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-4.

Everything went Lumpkin County's way against North Hall in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Lumpkin County made off with an 8-0 victory. Will Lumpkin County repeat their success, or does North Hall have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
