Softball Recap: Campbell Takes a Loss

Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to the River Ridge Knights. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 10-3 to the Knights when the teams met back in August of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for River Ridge, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Campbell will venture away from home to challenge Walton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for River Ridge, they will host Cambridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
