For the first time this season, there is a new No. 1 team in the MaxPreps Top 25 high school softball rankings.
The Tigers have outscored their opponents 88-1 over the past six games. Overall, the Lone Star State's top team is averaging over nine runs per game while allowing 10 runs in 27 games. They've held 20 teams scoreless. Arkansas commit

Natalie Cable is 11-0 in the circle with a 0.58 ERA and 168 strikeouts in 72 innings. She is also a .462 hitter with five home runs.
Saint Francis (Mountain View, Calif.) took over as the top Golden State squad after an impressive 4-0 record at the Michelle Carew Classic. The Lancers were awarded co-champions with
Norco (Calif.) as rain wiped out what could have been an epic showdown. And while Pacifica fell to No. 12 overall, but the Mariners are still in contention for a national title.
Orange Lutheran (Orange, Calif.), despite a loss last week, jumps to No. 6. The Lancers can compete with anyone when left-handed ace
