Basketball Game Preview: Harmony Science Academy vs. Bel Air Highlanders

Harmony Science Academy will face off against the Bel Air Highlanders at 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

Harmony Science Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 60-24 defeat at the hands of Cathedral. Harmony Science Academy hasn't had much luck with Cathedral recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Bel Air hadn't done well against Canutillo recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Highlanders snuck past the Eagles with a 37-32 win.

Bel Air's win came from a few key players Harmony Science Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Diego Macias, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. Angel Dominguez was another key player, putting up six points and ten boards.

Bel Air pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Harmony Science Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Harmony Science Academy couldn't quite get it done against Bel Air when the teams last played back in November of 2024 as they fell 47-36. Can Harmony Science Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
