Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Batavia walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Carter Cope looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.
