Recap: Edison Vikings vs. Bear Creek Bruins
The Edison Vikings won the last time they faced the Bear Creek Bruins, and things went their way on Friday too. Edison secured a 36-32 W over Bear Creek. The win made it back-to-back wins for Edison.
Despite the loss, Bear Creek saw an underclassman step up: DJ Jackson scored 8 points along with 18 rebounds. Siannah Rios was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Edison now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bear Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on California at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Bear Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Fortune Early College at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
