Woodland's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the McDonough Warhawks as they made off with an 18-8 win. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Aliyah Allen and London Smith did most of the damage at the plate: Allen got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs, while Smith went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs Smith has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was AriYanna Taylor, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Woodland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .694. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got Woodland back to even at 8-8. As for McDonough, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
