Football Game Preview: Triplains/Brewster Titans vs. Weskan Coyotes

The Triplains/Brewster Titans will square off against the Weskan Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Triplains/Brewster has struggled recently with ten losses in a row, while Weskan will arrive with six straight wins.

Triplains/Brewster's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Cheylin on Friday. They were dealt a 62-0 defeat at the hands of the Cougars.

Meanwhile, while Weskan put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Northern Valley. The Coyotes claimed a resounding 46-0 victory over the Huskies. The result was nothing new for the Coyotes, who have now won six games by 46 points or more so far this season.

Triplains/Brewster better keep an eye on Karsyn Wright. He was instrumental in Weskan's win, rushing for 94 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries. Wright also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making five total tackles. Another player making a difference was Dodger Allen, who picked up 30 receiving yards and two scores.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Weskan, racking up 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Wright, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Weskan's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Triplains/Brewster, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
