Volleyball Recap: Orono Comes Up Short

Orono lost against Minnetonka back in August of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skippers. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Orono's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Minnetonka, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.

Orono didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against John Marshall on the 11th. As for Minnetonka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Waconia on the 11th.
