Leavitt came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Medomak Valley Panthers as they made off with a 13-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Leavitt's record now sits at 11-1. As for Medomak Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Leavitt will take on Mt. Blue at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Medomak Valley, they will square off against Oceanside at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
