Soccer Game Preview: Greenfield vs. Stevenson

The Greenfield Bruins will square off against the Stevenson Pirates at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Greenfield is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Gonzales on Wednesday. Neither Greenfield nor Gonzales could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Stevenson kept a clean sheet against Palma on Wednesday. They beat the Chieftains by a goal, winning 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Pirates were the better team in the second half.

Greenfield's draw makes their record 1-2-1 this season. As for Stevenson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-4.
