Festus came tearing into Thursday's game with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Jefferson Blue Jays with a sharp 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Ava Oberle made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 6 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those doubles were her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mia Metzger, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Avery Schmitt was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Festus was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in seven consecutive contests.

Festus' record is now 14-2. As for Jefferson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
