Riverbank had won 11 straight home games and Taylor Macias did her part to make it 12 on Tuesday. The Riverbank Bruins walked away with a 62-50 win over the Marysville Indians with plenty of help from Macias, who went 7-for-11 to rack up 24 points along with five assists and three steals. Her big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points.

Paloma Reyes was another key player, putting up 11 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Marysville lost, don't look at Abigail Pietz. Despite the final result, she shot 53% from the field en route to 19 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Folaiula Sagapolutele, who scored seven points and ten boards.

Riverbank is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.4 points on average over those games. The defeat snapped Marysville's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 23-8 record.

Riverbank wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 55-50 loss against Liberty Ranch on the 27th. As for Marysville, they will face off against Prospect at 7:00 p.m. on March 4th. Prospect will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Marysville surely won't give up without a fight.
