It was a good run, but Liberty unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Easton Area Rovers. The Hurricanes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rovers earlier this season, when they won 42-32.

When it comes to explaining why Liberty lost, don't look at Anijah Davis. Despite the final result, she went 6 for 14 en route to 16 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ava Kopetskie, who posted 12 points.

Liberty's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6. As for Easton Area, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-38 win against Freedom on the 30th. As for Easton Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 40-36 victory against Nazareth Area on the 30th.
